Some would ask why it’s so important to do these things now.Following God is never easy. In fact, it’s often pretty scary. He requires us to stretch in ways we didn’t know we could. The water is flowing way too fast. It’s way too deep. It may be too cold. And yet, He calls us to join Him. Following God allows us to overcome our fears and doubts. We experience His infinite power in our lives, and we wonder why we were so afraid of joining Him in the first place. Pray. Ask God to show you how He wants to use your time, your abilities, and your gifts. Evaluate. How do you perceive your money and your possessions? Reflect. Take some time to remember specific ways that God has blessed you. Motivate. Let your gratitude and appreciation to God for His incredible love be the driving force behind everything you do. Give.
